  7. 2nd - A8s lost to AJ

The reality of poker can hit you quick... Take game #2.. I was the overall chip leader.. We are in Level 6 so the blinds are getting up there... From the BB with T9, I flop a straight only to lose to a Full House on the river.. next hand with KT with a T high flop, I go all in after his minimum raise preflop.. and min bet after flop... oops... he had the rockets... so in 2 hands, I went from chip leader to out.. I felt like that Olaf something or other from the 2003 WSOP. The key for me again is wins... not worrying about bubbling... not worring about ITM... win baby.. that's what I'm talking about.

To begin the SNG fest.. I am only playing 2 tables at a time... to ease me back into it.. I may or may not increase that as the month moves on.

Well, St Louis has baseball fever... especially with the way the Rams seem to be heading. I just want to make it clear, for the record, that I am not part of this fever. You see, I have not watched baseball for the most part since the last strike. I have boycotted major league baseball. I did watch just a little bit after the strike because the new players agreement was supposed to fix the problems... as we all know that the collective bargaining agreement did nothing to fix the problems the MLB experiences.. so you couple that with the drugs (steroids) and also I believe the whole ARod thing where he said it wasn't about the money that just put me over the edge... That's it... I'm out.. no more baseball. Now, I will frequent the local Class A team.. they are obviously not in it just for the money.... it's still a game they love to play. To tell you the truth... I don't miss it.... What about hockey, you say... another story for another day.. .suffice it to say, that it was not the same situation and I am eagerly anticipating the stary of the NHL season.

I want in on the fun. I'm putting my 100 HU challenge on the backburner and putting together my own little 6max SNG challenge. Details to come soon...
