Ouch! Obviously, your suspicion of the RNG's legitimacy is tongue in cheek (the tin foil hat reference should make that clear to all) but to borrow a phrase that's all the rage these days, it's a teachable moment. First, I saw someone stone dead to runner runner quads catch them with real cards in a tournament. It happens. Secondly, assuming we didn't know what you or anyone else mucked in this hand, AK was a 989-1 dog after the flop. Yes, that is the biggest possible suckout in poker, and extremely unlikely, but it's not the 1 in a million miracle everyone likes to swear that it is. Unlikely events occur because something with a 5% chance of happening will happen about 5% of the time, NOT because "Jokerstars" or anything else is rigged and out to get him. Poker players are funny; we think we should win half of the time (or at least the appropriate pct.) when we're behind and 100% of the time when we're ahead. I don't think I know anyone who has never pouted, "I never win a race." It seems to me that everyone can't lose every race. We all forget the 80% of the time our AA held up against QQ but we remember every time they got cracked. It's like calculating airline safety by comparing every news story about a plane crash to every news story about a safe landing. Once you've played hundreds of thousands of hands, as I presume most if not all of your readers have, you've seen some amazing things.
Now, about the President's birth certificate...Just kidding!!
