Doom Continues and Hand against known player

To say this feeling of running bad is familiar would be a gross under statement. I will spare you all the cooler/bad beat type stories because they are just not that interesting. While it wasn't the loss of $900 like the other night, it was half of that and it still hurts.

Here is a hand against a known fish. He runs about 18/16/1.5 over 318 hands according to my stats.
He 3bets 5.6%

Note.. we are 4 handed on this one.

I have more stats on this guy; but maybe the fact that we are playing 4 handed changes what stats are displayed.

Full Tilt Poker $0.50/$1 Pot Limit Hold'em - 4 players - http://www.thehandconverter.com/hands/356259
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

BB: $143.25
Hero (CO): $100.00
BTN: $109.40
SB: $117.45

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is CO with Js Jd
Hero raises to $3.50, 1 fold, SB raises to $11.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $8

Flop: ($24.00) 9s Qd 9c (2 players)
SB bets $12, Hero calls $12

Turn: ($48.00) 4d (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($48.00) Ac (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ???

Seems like a good bluff card. Anybody betting? What kind of range are we putting on this villain?

What about earlier? Do you call 3 bet? Do you repop?

World Series Final Table is this weekend. Anybody else rooting for Darvin Moon? I believe I am. Even with all of those chips, I still consider him a long shot to win.

Have a nice weekend!!!!

Bet the turn! Looks like he has AK or 10,10....you can't bet the river know honestly cause you'r not beating anything he's 3betting with you Pre.

my two cents

Definitely checking the river here. He played this hand like AK or maybe a slightly lower Ace since we are so shorthanded, including his bet on the flop but then shutting down on turn and river after you called the flop. Re-opening the betting here is not a good idea IMO since the Ace could have beaten you and you should be happy to check it down with pocket Jacks and a Queen and Ace on board against a preflop reraiser.

Agree with Hoy checking the river. I don't see him showing up with a hand that beats you - but perhaps its a rivered AK who is unsure whether you have have AQ. I have to imagine had you bet the turn you would have taken it down right then & there. HOWEVER, knowing Brue can be a tricky player, I'm ditching this hand PF and avoiding getting in his way :-) (just in case he's reading this comment).
