I have a couple of blogs to add to my top 15 which now turns into my top 17. I've always said that if you are one of my top 10 commenters, I will link you up.
The first one, I'm not sure how or why I missed it so long. It is none other than Memphis MoJo. He is a poker playing / bridge playing Mid Westerner. He just recently visited our fine city of St Louis to watch the Birds. I hope they won for you.
The second one really needs no introduction. Hoyazo writes mini posts that take about 4 hours to read. ;-) He writes some really in depth stuff and is definitely worth taking a look.
Thanks to both of you for taking the time to comment on blog. My top 10 commenter list is on the right side. You just need to scroll down a bit.
I started off my night running Queens into Aces against a known loose player. Minus one stack right on the very first hand. That leaves a mark for sure.
I believe this next hand is standard; but wanted to make sure.
Villain is 34/10/1.3 over 30 hands.

Opened ended and flush draw, I'm always happy to get it in? Agree or disagree? What do you expect Villain to have here?

I totally agree with the call, you have sooooo many outs but have to figure that you are behind (probably 2 pr).
Standard.
Villain limped on button and would have probably raised a pocket pair given his 10% PFR. I'd say his range is pretty wide but would probably get it in with a small overpair, two-pair, flush draw, or flopped straight.
You should have 15 clean outs here or close to it. Easy decision to get it in here.

Thanks for the mention. Yes, the Cards won both games that I went to (they were playing Washington).
Agree with getting it in. You're 54% to hit either the straight or the flush. If you hit your hand and still don't win, so be it.
Def standard. If you can't win, I'd call it a bad beat.
He turned over 2 pair (65o). Holdem Manager said we were 50/50. A king on the turn gave me even more outs. We were still 50/50. An 8 on the river gave my straight.
